On January 19, 2025, Montreal’s Théâtre Beanfield transformed into a sanctuary for music lovers as Tycho, the ambient electronica virtuoso, graced the stage. With an audience brimming with anticipation, Scott Hansen and his band delivered a mesmerizing performance that seamlessly blended ambient melodies, downtempo grooves, and lush visual aesthetics. This marked our second opportunity to witness Tycho live, having previously attended his performance in April 2017 at the Métropolis in Montreal. Both experiences left us in awe of Hansen’s artistry and growth as a performer.
