Before the Interview: A Brief Dispatch from Los Angeles
The editor-in-chief of Men Club Select, a premium men’s lifestyle magazine based in Los Angeles, sat behind his mahogany desk, scanning a shortlist of journalists. « This one’s tricky » he muttered. The subject was Stefania Ferrario—model, activist, icon. « We need someone with tact… and reach. »
He tapped the name at the top of the list: Nick Carter.
Minutes later, Nick stood in his office. Lean, sharp-suited, and charismatic, he exuded confidence.
« Nick, this one’s yours » the editor said, sliding over a folder. « Sydney. Stefania Ferrario. »
« You sure? »
« You’ve got the social media reach and a great pen. Just remember—you’re there to conduct an interview, not chase kangaroos or flirt with the goddess herself. Stick to the questions. You get me? »
Nick smirked. « Crystal clear. »
Nick Carter: First of all, Stefania, thank you for taking the time to sit down with me for this interview. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person.
Stefania Ferrario: My pleasure, Nick! Welcome to Sydney. I hope your flight wasn’t too rough. How are you handling the jet lag?
NC: Not going to lie, it’s been a bit of an adjustment! But nothing a strong Aussie coffee and this stunning view of Sydney can’t fix.
SF: Laughs Good to hear! We have some of the best coffee in the world, so you’ll be fine.
NC: Let’s get into it. You have such a unique presence in the fashion industry. Many models conform to a certain mold, but you’ve always stood out by embracing a natural, curvier figure. Was that a conscious decision from the beginning?
SF: Absolutely. From the start, I wanted to challenge beauty standards. There’s something liberating about showing the world that femininity comes in many shapes and sizes. I’ve never been one to conform, and I think that’s what has helped me connect with so many people.
NC: Your confidence is inspiring. But let’s talk about your more daring side. You’ve never been afraid to pose nude, something that still raises eyebrows in the industry. What drives you to push those boundaries?
SF: For me, nudity is about power and self-expression. It’s not about being provocative for the sake of it, but about celebrating the human form. Art and sensuality have always gone hand in hand, and I love playing with that balance. It’s about taking control of how my body is seen and refusing to let others dictate what is ‘acceptable.’
NC: That brings me to an interesting point. Some people have speculated whether you ever considered a career in the adult industry. What made you decide to stay away from that world?
SF: Oh, I’ve had offers! Laughs But no, that’s never been my path. I have the utmost respect for people in that industry—some of them are close friends, like Angela White, who I admire and deeply respect. But for me, my work is about artistic expression rather than adult entertainment. I love exploring sensuality, but I want to keep that within the realm of art and fashion.
NC: Makes sense. You’ve built a career on your own terms. Speaking of which, your hair is one of your signature features. You’ve rocked everything from platinum blonde to shaved heads. Is there a story behind your bold hair choices?
SF: Definitely! Shaving my head was an act of rebellion at first. The fashion industry often ties femininity to long hair, and I wanted to break that stereotype. Plus, there’s something incredibly freeing about shedding expectations—both literally and figuratively.
NC: It’s undeniable that you exude confidence. But let’s switch gears—what about your personal life? What qualities do you find irresistible in a man?
SF: Confidence, humor, and intelligence. There’s nothing sexier than someone who can make me laugh and keep up with an interesting conversation. Physical attraction is great, but chemistry is what truly matters.
NC: So… does that mean there’s someone special in your life right now?
SF: Smirks A woman has to keep some mystery, doesn’t she? Let’s just say, I enjoy good company.
NC: Fair enough! Before we wrap up, is there a cause or issue that’s especially close to your heart?
SF: Absolutely. I’m passionate about body positivity and mental health awareness. The pressure people—especially women—face in terms of appearance can be crushing. I want to keep using my platform to break down those barriers and encourage people to love themselves as they are.
NC: Stefania, this has been an absolute pleasure. Thank you for your time, your energy, and your honesty.
SF: Thank you, Nick! I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Sydney. And don’t forget—try our coffee! Winks
